# Use estimated mixes and cup observations

> Learn how Color Engine proposes limited visual mixing starting points, displays whole drops, and records an artist's cup check.

Color Engine's **Mezcla** section can offer an estimated starting point using eligible inks in your saved stock. The displayed amounts are not calibrated physical recipes.

**1. Save the real inventory**

In **Mi tinta**, mark the bottles you actually own and save the inventory.

**2. Select a design target**

Choose a colour target, check its screen sample and any execution context, and open **Resolver el objetivo**.

**3. Inspect an estimated mix**

Expand **Mezcla**. Where supported, a candidate lists the component inks and whole-drop quantities.

**4. Test the starting point**

Select **Usar como punto de partida** if appropriate. Report what you observe under **¿Qué observas en copa?**. In supported cases, the application may suggest a specific **+1 drop** change.

**5. Confirm only your actual observation**

When the real cup result is acceptable, select **Confirmar “está bien” en copa** and save the colour decision. Confirmation applies to this session, not all future sessions.

## Beta constraints

* Automatic MIX suggestions are limited to the supported Fusion visual references and compatible products explicitly marked as in stock.
* The solver approximates mixtures from product photographs. It has no calibrated pigment reflectance measurements.
* Suggestions generally favour two components; three are used only under the engine's decision rule.
* Dilution and greywash are separate from COLOR MIX and are not transformed into automatic recipes.
* If the evidence is inadequate, no reliable mix should be assumed.

> Estimated colour is not proof of physical ink equivalence or healed-skin appearance. Verify everything in your working conditions.
